Job Description
The Selected Director of Software Development will:
Champion team growth initiaves.
Identify potential leaders within the group, and provide ample training and mentor-ship to promote from within.
Navigate the use and implementation of new technologies in an agile working environment.
Drive the multi-year road map for HR & People Technology, while leading the development and configuration of new people technologies.
Lead & Administer of core system, driving configurations & data connections for all core talent processes.
Lead transition from waterfall work flow to agile working environment
Enhance and improve data governance for all people & downstream systems - benefiting the team.
Maintain records and preparing documentation of training programs, scheduling, employee attendance and training program effectiveness.
Lead functional projects and configuration activities for enhancements, new functionality and bi-annual releases including analysis of impacts.
Represent company's technology division on national travel up to 10%

The Successful Applicant
The Successful Director of Software Developer has:
A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience managing technology development teams in a medium to large size business
Bachelors Degree or higher in a relevant field required
Technical background in C# / .NET required
Strong metrics-focused with ability to use analytics to solve problems and develop solutions
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multi-task environment
Ability to think clearly under pressure
Strong logical reasoning skills
Aptitude to learn and leverage new technology
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality while balancing needs of business

Base salary ranging from $165k-$210k dependent on expertise brought to the role.
Remote work primarily, quarterly travel to MN office expected (no more than 10%)
