We have a very international team with more than 30 nationalities working from Mexico City, Berlin, and remotely. Our founder Stefan Moller is also half German and Mexican, which allowed Klar to think globally since its inception.

Your daily adventures will be:

We are looking for aSenior DevOps Engineerto join our team, with a primary focus on operating and scaling our operations for our direct SPEI connection. Additionally, you will be part of our DevOp Team, working on initiatives and providing support to enable our development teams and manage our infrastructure. You main tasks will be:

Managing Incidents & External SLAs:

• Ensure compliance with external SLAs for our SPEI connection. For example, Major incidents must be reported to Banxico within 30 minutes.
• React, resolve, and escalate incidents as necessary, collaborating with the technical and business teams.
• Build and implement incident processes to ensure the organization's ability to operate our connection at scale, working alongside the business and technology teams.

Maintenance:

• Take ownership, plan, and execute both planned and on-demand maintenance of our systems, collaborating with impacted and dependent technology and business teams.

Integration and Observability Improvements:

• Continuously improve our product, including observability and integration with internal services and processes.

What you bring to the table:

• Experience with payment networks, with experience with the SPEI network being a plus.
• Deep understanding of Event Driven Microservices architectures, IAC, CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps, and DevSecOps.
• At least 4 years of experience with several of the following development technologies: Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS.
• Experience with several of the following technologies is highly desirable: Istio, Helm, Kafka, Terragrunt.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development using Java, Python, Go, or another programming language.
• Strong technical knowledge in IP/TCP fundamentals, VPNs, the Kubernetes conceptual framework, TLS, mTLS, SSL Certificates, and Linux system administration.
• At least 3 years of experience with logging and metrics technologies such as DropWizard, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to incorporate peer review to improve designs and rectify errors before they occur.
• Self-starter with strong communication skills, planning abilities, problem-solving capabilities, and a focus on strategic and long-term improvements, while maintaining execution and attention to detail.
• Native Spanish speaker with the ability to work proficiently in English, both written and verbal.
