nXscale provides flexible outsourcing solutions for startups and scaleups. We partner with global companies to help them build teams and scale operations.

Our client is an Australian digital healthcare company on a mission to deliver high-quality healthcare to millions of patients. Their team is made up of Australia and the UK’s best marketers, engineers, creatives, operators, and medical practitioners; they hail from the likes of Canva, Google, Koala, Commonwealth Bank, and many more top companies.

They are making healthcare as easy as shopping online or ordering food from Grab. Their technology platform delivers a modern healthcare experience that brings the doctor, the pharmacy and ongoing care right to their patients.

We are looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our rapidly growing product-led engineering team. You will be part of building capabilities on our digital healthcare platform that enables practitioners to diagnose and deliver treatments, and for patients to ultimately get better healthcare by treating complex conditions.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in product, design, marketing, creative, analytics, and operations to develop the best experience for our users
  • Take an iterative approach to building & scaling new features, balancing rapid prototyping - while also placing high importance on the stability, security, and modularity of our overall system
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing amongst the wider team. We want you to bring your ideas to the table, and help our team run as effectively as possible (e.g. pair programming, code reviews, and feedback on design patterns)

Who you are:

  • Several years in a similar role at other startups or software companies under your belt
  • Experience building web products with our tech stack: Frontend: React, Typescript, Apollo, Tailwind, HTML/CSS/JS
  • Experience with agile development and working effectively in teams
  • Good ability to break down projects, estimate timelines, and execute projects with multiple streams of work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
