We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in all phases of the software development life cycle. This is a unique opportunity to contribute extensively to the success of a rapidly growing technology company. Businessolver developers create web-based solutions within a complex integrated system seen by millions of users.

The Gig:

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support secure, scalable, highly available enterprise software
  • Develop front-end User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) using React, and Java based Object-Oriented backend software for web applications and services
  • May develop AWS Cloud software using python, Java, Infrastructure as Code, etc.
  • Share technical knowledge across the team and learn from your colleagues
  • Understand business requirements to implement code based on sprint commitments
  • Collaborate with technical leaders to align on design strategy that will achieve business goals for each user story while ensuring technical integrity
  • Propose creative technical solutions to grow our business and delight our customers
  • May perform other duties as assigned

What You Need to Make the Cut:

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience with large scale enterprise development
  • Proficient in computer science fundamentals, including REST APIs, microservices, object-oriented design, data structures, design patterns, and efficient algorithm development
  • Highly motivated, innovative, software designer with an eagerness to stay up-to-date with current trends and a desire to collaborate across teams
  • Extensive knowledge of JAVA, JavaScript, SQL for Relational Databases
  • Comfortable with Linux, Version Control, and Agile Development Methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree
  • 6+ years of software development professional experience with secure, distributed, highly available systems
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Software Development and Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with React, GraphQL, python, XML, XSL, HTML, CSS, NoSQL, and Relational Databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with IntelliJ IDE, GIT, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Telemetry monitoring experience (Splunk, CloudWatch, etc.)

The pay range for this position is 100K to 153K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).

This role is eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.
