This is a remote position.

Our client is one of the fastest-growing and most-exciting FinTech firms in the UK.

We are looking for a Software Engineer. They are growing really big and fast, and want new talent to join the firm. What are we looking for? Well, we expect you to have worked in an agile environment, you will be a self-starting problem-solver with plenty of initiative and you will also have an appetite for responsibility. Do you want to help them shape the Future of Finance? Then this position is for you.

About The Job...

  • Working with stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to break down high-level requirements into user stories
  • Building, documenting and testing features in our client's API platform
  • Writing clean code and tests.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting software issues
  • Providing feedback on PRs

Requirements

Some must have's...

  • at least 2 years of commercial development experience using .Net, .Net Core, ASP.Net Core, etc.
  • at least 2 years of experience working with REST APIs
  • a methodical, thorough and detail-oriented approach to your work
  • a strong desire to keep learning
  • fluent English

It would be really cool if you have...

  • experience with asynchronous systems and/or webhooks (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • used CQRS
  • used Event Sourcing
  • generated or consumed OpenAPI specifications
  • worked within a fast-growing scale-up
  • familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • experience in financial services

Competitive pay package depending on skills/experience (up to£55.000/year)
