We're seeking an energetic, well-read person to help provide online information services to public. Work is fully remote. Position is full-time depending on skills and other factors. Hours are variable, based on production schedule and demand.ResponsibilitiesOperate and oversee software and systems collecting and distributing online information to libraries and library patronsAssist in the obtaining, reviewing and editing of bibliographic dataHandle diverse inquiries from libraries and patrons and create solutions to address their needsHelp maintain and expand organizational knowledge resourcesInvestigate and solve issues entailing bibliographic and operational mattersTest, evaluate and contribute to new featuresPossibly handle a modest amount of invoicingRequiredDeep commitment to non-profit values and service to communityBachelor's degree with strong academic successBroad experience with literature, books, authors, etc.Familiarity with computers and popular software such as Microsoft OfficeStrong writing skillsDemonstrated ability to learn complex information and improve quality continuouslyAbility to work independentlyAbility to interact courteously and effectively with the public and other staff
